The Chinese Drywall Complaint Center is urging homeowners in Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Virginia, Southeast Texas, & other states to get identified, if they have imported Chinese drywall in their homes called Knauf, because the deadline has been extended to 1-15-2010. At the same time the group is saying,"These poor homeowners needed a robust, and meaningful federal response back in February. Its now December, & we have basically nothing-except for really bad advice from the US Consumer Products Safety Commissions web site-----call your insurance company if you have toxic Chinese drywall in your home?" The group says, "If a homeowner calls their insurance company to complain about toxic Chinese drywall, their insurance company will reject the claim, and probably drop the home. Change?"
